Our film Nocturne Night of The Vampire distributed by Troma premiered at ACMI cinemas in Melbourne in April 2007. And it was such a special experience for me. My first co-lead in a feature film alongside actor Alex Spears. And the first time I got to see myself up on the big screen. You only get those firsts once. Nocturne (to this day) remains one of my favourite artistic experiences. I was only 29 at the time and there were a lot of firsts. The film director and I caught a limo to the cinema and I got my Marilyn dress from an opshop in Brunswick. I hold this experience and the entirety of 2006, 2007 and 2008 as a very special time in my life. Travelling to festivals and just being so fucking creative. Very happy memories for me. Which I will carry with me always.
