In 2008, Dutch film journalist Ton van Rooij arranged for myself and film director Bill Mousoulis to have our film screen at Broet. We got to meet the founders of Broet – Ramon Etman and Frans Brok. We were put up in an Airbnb (which was lovely). We spent Halloween watching a screening of Horizonica – a horror film by Ramon Etman and also saw our film screen. It was so much fun.
I have a bloodshot eye in some of the pics because I had a non-cancerous growth in it (a pterygium) which I had to have removed on my return to Australia.
