Melbourne Museum Cafe is situated in the Melbourne Museum Centre in the beautiful Carlton Gardens.
It really is a pleasant place to have a beverage and a bite to eat.
It has a varied menu of hot and cold foods plus coffee, hot chocolate, a selection of T2 teas and wine (for the alcohol inclined like myself).
After an hour of cycling this morning, I was in need of a pick-me-up. I popped into the Melbourne Museum Cafe for a flat white and it was just perfect.
I’m fairly fussy with coffee but I can vouch for their coffee making skills. Just what the doctor ordered (or perhaps not?)
The cafe is family friendly and has a stack of high-chairs, as well as a special lunchbox for the kids.
Whether you are on your lunchbreak from work, or a visitor to the Exhibition Centre, pop into the Museum Cafe for some refreshments, eat in or takeaway.
If you have the time, you could make a day of it.
With The Melbourne Museum, The IMAX cinema, free internet access (down the escalators) and the picturesque gardens, only a few steps away – you will hardly find the time to be bored.
So what are you waiting for? Visit the Melbourne Museum Cafe today.
