Who isn’t a fan of the famous and lovable Mr Potato Head? A favourite amongst adults and children, the world over.

Who would have thought, that 63 years after George Lerner first brought Mr Potato Head to life, that this adorable spud, would be as popular as ever?

You cannot imagine my sheer joy, as I stumbled across the ‘Mr Potato Head Exhibition’ at Ganim’s this morning.

I was greeted by owner and designer, Rae Ganim – who has won an array of fashion industry awards as well as being inducted into the Design Institute of Australia’s hall of fame in 1998.

Rae invited 40 of her favourite creatives (artists, jewellers, musicians, photographers, designers) to re-interpret Mr Potato Head. The result is simply magic.

When I entered Ganim’s this morning, the store was ‘abuzz’ with adults becoming children. It seems this exhibit, helps free one’s inner Mr Potato Head.

This exhibit concludes on Oct 7 – so grab yourself a packet of chips and head to Ganim’s to celebrate the versatility of the most famous tatie of them all.
